Turning office furniture into a gym
Ever wish your office furniture could somehow transform into a full fitness club? There are days at the office where we feel that by sitting behind a desk for almost half an entire day, our fitness levels are steadily declining. I know I do.
My friend used to lift me here and there like a feather and now I seem to be getting dragged along everywhere we go. So what I wanted to know is, how do you turn your everyday office furniture into some kind of a quick 15-to-30-minute fitness arena? Preferably not in a way that would have me lunging from one desk to another like some kind of wild animal, or causing irreparable damage to office furniture.
I found a blog that allowed me to do just that! Here’s an example: while sitting, lift up until your hips are just hovering over our office chair, arms out for balance. Hold that for 2-3 seconds, and then stand all the way up and repeat for 16 reps. Sounds easy, but believe me, after 16 reps, your boss will be wondering what (or who) is causing to get all sweaty during your office break.
