The fountain-of-youth-in-a-pill
“Mirror mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all”?
Subconsciously, all or us ask this when we look at our face in the mirror. We all have this natural desire to be beautiful (more than the rest). Sometimes we think of what we used to look like when we were younger, when we were still much prettier. Often, we resort to using beauty creams and doing exercise to bring back that youthful glow that we used to have. But when it doesn’t work, we consult our fairy grand mothers – cosmetic surgeons.
Surgery is effective, although it is very risky (not to mention expensive). This is why surgeons usually let you sign a waiver that tells basically “we have told you the risks you accepted. If you die, it’s not our problem”. Fortunately, there is another breakthrough in medical science – the discovery of human growth hormones a.k.a. HGH.
Not to be too geeky about this stuff, scientists discovered that we age because the body stops producing HGH. So the goal now is try to find a way to make the body release HGH. There are available pills known as hgh releaser in the market already that claims to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce such hormones. It’s somewhat like the “fountain of youth” in a pill. I’m considering these pills instead of surgery but I ought to ask my doctor first. Anyhow, if any of you have already tried using one, feel free to comment.
