Beware and drive safe!

We’re all aware of the fact that driving can lead to many hazardous situations. The good part about this is that it helps make life easier by allowing you to transport into various places around you without even bothering with the amount of stress public transportation can give.

With all that aside, for our own benefit, insurance has come to life. Many companies nowadays provide cheap auto insurance, but what gives? What can we do to determine which one to get?

The only advice I can give to all of you who read my blog would be to read everything you can about the company and to ask anyone you know regarding their experiences with it.

Experience can be the best teacher, but why do you have to go through the same mistakes that someone already has told you about? Learning from the mistake of others is always the wise thing to do.

Even if insurance can be expensive, it is something that needs to be considered. Many insurance agencies can guide you to which one you really want or need, just be wary of scams and all that jazz.

Happy driving!

Tough times on your family call for tough measures.

Most of the time people just turn their back on awful situations and just try to think they never happened. This is sad, but it happens. I guess this is just one way of coping up from a bad situation.

The fact is, accidents can never be fully avoided, you can only opt to take contingency measures. Most of the accidents around us occur in vehicles, and that is why cheap car insurance exists.

These types of insurance help you out when you’re in need of car related financial issues, and the good part about this is there are a lot of insurances of this type offered all over the world, all you have to do is to choose.

What are evergo oxygen concentrators?

I’ve always wondered what the use for the oxygen masks in airplanes were so I decided to google a few topics regarding this. These tanks provide us with concentrated oxygen to help us improve our breathing, especially on dangerous situations like near death experiences on airplane crashes. This is actually very useful to people who have weak lungs and the like.

I admit that I myself have very weak lungs and have a hard time inhaling air when I’m on an adrenaline rush or did something strenuous.

When we panic, we tend to experience difficulty in breathing, I believe our veins constrict and our lungs have a hard time in breathing because of this from what I understood, but it would be best to actually look it up yourself as I am not an expert on this field. These kinds of situations are where these oxygen concentrators come in. Handy, huh?

As I was talking to a good friend via Windows Live, we ended up doing heavy discussions on serious stuff.

The topics we discussed drifted into things like what we wanted to do if our jobs weren’t what they are now, and my answer was to sell used books. I found it not only practical, but also fun. I’ve been reading a lot of books in my entire life, and I’ve learned a lot through this. I guess this is my way of sharing who I am to the society.

I can say that thinking about other plans and not setting your eyes straight to a goal is quite helpful in the future. Being flexible is definitely an advantage to most people out there in the working world. I guess it is safe to say that this is actually one of the qualities that someone who wishes to be successful should have.

Think Ahead

Death is inevitable.

That’s what I learned a few days ago as I saw a brutal car accident involving a truck and a motor. It made me think about funeral planning.

I guess saving up for your own funeral and planning most of it out wouldn’t be so bad. That way if I leave my family because of some unexpected, tragic event, they wouldn’t have to stress themselves over paying for the funeral service.

Most of the time when I imagine my death I also picture the scenario that my family would be in the middle of, worrying about the bills, and the funeral service itself. It’s too stressful to even think about. I don’t want them to be stressed about worldly things when I die, so I’m planning ahead.

Thinking ahead is always good.

With the literally scorching heat nowadays, sweating profusely has become a normal occurrence in one’s life. Unfortunately, excessive sweating for me equals back acne (sometimes referred to as bacne).

Getting acne on your back is not unusual; however it’s much harder to deal with. I’m not even sure if you can use medications like acnepril for it. Anyway, I did some research on how to deal with back acne due to sweat and here’s a few tips I encountered which might help you as well: ^_^

  • For those prone to sweat, especially for athletes and those who exercise in the gym, it is best to use non-clinging, light clothing like cotton. Materials like lycra and wool should be avoided as they trap the sweat and also irritates the skin aggravating the problem.
  •

  • It is a must to remove the sweat, so make sure you shower whenever you get really sweaty. It would also help if you use soap and a scrub to wash off that dirt and grime. When using a back scrub though, make sure you are very gentle - the last thing you need is to break open the acne sores and help the infection spread.
  •

  • Changing your shirt a couple of times a day, especially during the hot season, helps to prevent bacteria from building up, as well as removing any sweat or dirt that has accumulated on the shirt.
  •

  • Even with all these precautions, you might still find yourself with a bad outbreak of back acne. Generally either tetracycline or minocycline are recommended. You could also treat the acne on your back by using a cleanser containing salicyclic acid and apply medicines containing benzoyl peroxide. However, before applying any medication, do consult your dermatologist first.

You’d find all sorts of things as you travel around the world. Each country has its own signature souvenir items.

One thing that all countries have are weight loss products. Diet aids have been proven to be one of the prominent things in the market. Why? The appeal of losing weight quickly and without effort is hard to resist! The only problem with these kinds of products is not only do they lighten your weight, but also your wallet.

The problem with these pills are most of them aren’t proven to be effective. Some even have hazardous side effects that we all don’t want to even think about.

To be sure on what to purchase, it’d be best to ask advice from credible experts.

Muffin Tops, Oh No

Most of us have one big problem in between our chest and pelvic bone: belly fat.

Most people worry about this because of the fact that wearing skinny or fitted jeans make them have muffin tops, and that isn’t pretty at all. Most people who have belly fat are forced to wear loose shirts just to prevent it from being too obvious.

The question is, does anyone really know an effective way on how to reduce belly fat? Most people would tell you to work out daily, but really, working out and then eating more than you can handle will never work. Others rely on lyposuction or some other operations, while the others rely on pills.

Even though we all treat our issues differently, in the end, it’s about self confidence and discipline.

Physical appearances tend to be very tricky.

Everyone nowadays bases things on beauty and physical appearance. The sad part is, what is pleasing to the eye isn’t pleasing to the touch. Way back then, people found plump women attractive. Nowadays it’s all about the anorexic teenage girls.

Most people who are horizontally challenged tend to have low self esteem. Who can blame them? People can be very harsh if they wanted to. Some people even lose contests even if they obviously have greater talent than everyone else just because they are fat. You can say that the phrase, “best fat burners” can be one of the most searched phrases in Google just because of how society treats them.

No one wants to be treated that way, so people force themselves to change to fit in, and to feel that they belong.

With majority of my staff resigning and on a venture to finding a new career path and/or better company; with me finding out that the highest position I can ever attain in my company is my current job; and that our CEO’s ultimate goal is to sell this company preferably next year… My considering other options is already a given of course.

I was thinking of actually resigning straight out. But then again, that would be suicidal since I still have bills to pay monthly and I don’t want to end up with a social security disability. I do know that with my job profile I can get a job soon though, or even during the 30-day notice period I need to render for my company. But that’s impractical as well since my negotiating power with my next company will be lower because I’d be almost, if not, unemployed by that time.

During this dilemma phase, Slide, my colleague whose advice I highly value, did not disappoint me. He said something that made sense in my jumbled thoughts, “Save enough money so you can survive a quarter without work. That will put you in a different perspective.” He added, “That way, you won’t have to worry much about anything, so you can concentrate on job hunting or your website.”

Wisely stated isn’t it? ^_^
