My friend and I were babbling on about the various places we wanted to visit.
I mentioned that London, England was one of my top priorities to go to, and I could die happy if I were able to go to that place. New York would be the next on my travel bucket list. Those two places have always intimidated me so, and I’ve always been a fan of big cities. You can call me a hopeless romantic, but I see a lot of romantic potential in places like those.
My friend worried about her various issues if she ever decided to leave the country. She is currently worrying about insurance quote issues, and I told her not to mind it too much, and told her that all of us need a break once in a while.
I think I found myself a travel companion, guys!

on Guimaras and the sweetest Mangoes in the world
Author: admin
My friend and I are going to Guimaras on the 19th, “the next Boracay” in the Philippines. We’re both pretty excited about it since we’ve heard so many great stories about it, especially about the diversity of flora and fauna within the area.
While browsing, I came across this trivia:
The Guimaras Island is famous for producing the sweetest mangoes in the world. Guimaras mangos are reportedly served at the White House and Buckingham Palace. Guimaras’ largest event of the year is The Manggahan Festival (the Mango Festival).
I’ll definitely try their Mangoes. Hehehe.
We currently don’t have any idea where to stay there though. But we only hope the places we end up with have decent comfort rooms. Preferably with American Standard sinks, shower, and toilet bowl that have hot running water please? My friend would absolutely die without hot running water. It’s like the soul of every accommodation he’s been into. That criterion can be a make or break of his reviews of every accommodation. Seriously.
Anyway, I can’t wait til the 19th! It’s actually going to be my first time to travel with a guy best friend. How cool is that? ^_^
Top football destinations in europe
Author: admin
For football (a.k.a. soccer) fanatics, instead of admiring your football gods from one of those wholesale tvs, wouldn’t it be better if you get to see them from the stands and perhaps even get to shake hands with them in person?
I suggest planning a trip to Europe that includes these top three destinations in your itinerary: London, Manchester, and Liverpool. These are the three largest cities for soccer or football which also houses stadiums that are the home of a club or national team with a capacity of 40,000 or more (FYI, 40,000 is the minimum capacity required for a stadium to host FIFA World Cup finals matches). Some of which are Wembley Stadium in Wembley, London (90,000 capacity); Old Trafford (football) in Trafford, Greater Manchester (76,212 capacity); and Anfield Liverpool (45,362 capacity).
It doesn’t matter which hotel you’re staying in. Just make sure to avail of stadium tours from the popular big clubs so you can get a behind the scenes look at the players” changing rooms and the facilities.
excellent infrastracture in South Africa
Author: admin
If someone told me that there’s a place in Africa that has an excellent road, rail and air infrastructure comparable to some of the best in the world, I would have rolled on the floor with laughter. I mean, AFRICA?!
Then an article stunned me… there IS a place in Africa that has an excellent road, rail and air infrastructure – South Africa. It’s fascinating to find out that their road networks are well-maintained and signposted. That and the fact that transport in South Africa is geared towards motor vehicles. So if you’re thinking of visiting this country, I suggest you plan a road trip.
Don’t worry about finding accommodation in this place. You can find Hotels in Johannesburg, Sandton, or even Cape Town.

move to a modern building – NOT!
Author: admin
My company recently occupied an entire floor in a new building last December 2. The facilities are fantastic and I love the architectural and interior design of the building. I’m happy with our new workstations as well, especially since we switched from tiles to carpet and we now have professional looking dividers. It all looks very sophisticated.
The new office is in fact almost perfect, except for one thing – the signal of most of our mobile phone networks are close to null and most of the time fluctuating. It’s quite frustrating really. For a building boasting of being modern and high-tech, they definitely should look more into essential features like that.
Anyhow, our HR already informed the building admin about that issue and they said they’ll be working on those as soon as possible. Meantime, I’ll be getting myself a cell phone repeater to make sure I don’t get delayed sms and I’m reachable by anyone at all times especially in case of emergencies. *sigh*
list of in places in France

Officially the French Republic, France is the most visited country in the world and continues to sit right at the top of the European heap. Below are some of the most in places this summer in France:
- For festivals and avant-garde events organized around the arts, dance, literature and theatre, go to Le Lieu Unique, in Nantes.
- For a choice of restaurants serving delicious crepes and cider, visit the medieval quarter of Bouffay, in Nantes.
- To set eyes on the renowned collection of paintings by the modern artist Pierre Soulages, as well as great 19th-century French artists, drop by the recently renovated Fabre Museum, in Montpellier.
- Need a break from your tour? Rest your feet at Place de la Comedie, in Montpellier. It is a huge pedestrian-only esplanade overflowing with cafes.
- For sublime pool settings, drop by Set Cluband dive into an idyllic ambiance of palm trees, rose-bay trees, pine and cedar.
- If you’re into jet-set, visit Saint Tropez’s Papagayo nightclub, the international destination point of the Cote d’Azur.
- To have a taste of the best and most prestigious Parisian night clubs, go to the Golden Triangle (Champs Elysees, George V and Montaigne).
One of the most visited areas in France is Paris, the city of light. Should you decide to go to France, I suggest you check in at Paris Hotels in suburbs for a cheaper rate. Then again, Hotels en Paris proper are the best place to be in to experience Paris at its best. Up to you…

Brisbane delivers on all fronts – from sophisticated and progressive, to dynamic and diverse. However, to be able to fully experience the best of both worlds in Brisbane – the sunny islands in the east and the breezy rainforests in the west, with an in between attractions of a lively city – I suggest you plan your trip well with a Brisbane travel guide. That way, you’re sure not to pass up any happenings like major sporting events, and miss notable destinations during your trip.
A note for those into gaming facilities: If you have cash and are looking for gaming opportunities, be sure to drop by Conrad Treasury Brisbane. This boutique casino hosts more than 1300 gaming machines and over 80 gaming tables.

Whistler – the skiers’ fantasy land
Author: admin
Noted as the “Number One Ski Resort in North America” and the “Best Ski Resort in the World” by prominent ski magazines, Whistler, Canada offers everything that you could possibly want. From a charming alpine village, a fantastic scenery, to wonderful skiing on two magnificent side-by-side mountains (Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains), and great and reasonably-priced Whistler accommodation – that’s Whistler, British Columbia for you.
To cap it off, just this July, Vancouver-Whistler was selected as the host city for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Greatly enthused with all these, I checked some Whistler lodgings and settled with Hearthstone Lodge Penthouse. Based from reviews, with a prime location in the very middle of the Village and with a virtually postcard perfect view, this penthouse truly combines luxury and comfort. Why settle for less when you can have it all, and at a reasonable price at that?

The Netherlands – more than just cheese and tulips
Author: admin
My CEO, Philip, is a Dutch-Filipino citizen. With the three years I’ve worked with him, I heard a lot about Enschede (his hometown) and Amsterdam (the capital city of the Netherlands) aside from the usual tasty cheese, windmills and renowned tulips or flower bulbs. With my curiosity piqued, I decided to do some more research about the Netherlands and found out that, although the country is not that big, it is well-known for a lot of exceptional museums such as the Stedelijk Museum and the Rembrandt House Museum. There’s also the Van Gogh Museum, which houses the largest collection of Van Gogh”s paintings and drawings in the world. Anne Frank House is also a popular tourist attraction. Oh, and let’s not forget Amsterdam’s famous red-light district*, de Wallen (window prostitution is legal here at specific places), and the coffee shops that sell cannabis (not completely legal but is tolerated when only about 5 grams are involved). Interested? Plan your vacation and reserve your accommodation at online travel services. Whether you are looking for a luxurious accommodation, a cheap hotel, or even a Schiphol hotel (Amsterdam airport hotel), I suggest you take a look at easyToBook.com.

* A red-light district is a neighborhood where prostitution and other businesses in the sex industry flourish.
