Protect Your Identity Now
Author: admin
I have heard recently that identity theft is quite abundant these days, even two of my friends have already been victims of this. It’s sad, really, but we need to take safety precautions from this ourselves if we don’t want to experience the same thing.
One of the most common solutions for this would be rfid blocking wallets. RFID stands for radio frequency identification and this can be found in credit cards, passports and identity badges. Most of these things can be found in wallets, so people actually are giving away their identity without knowing it!
So if you don’t have enough money to buy the wallets with built in rfid blocking technology, I suggest making an improvised one with aluminum foil to help reduce your card’s signal strength.
A little prevention goes a long way. Don’t be like the fools who only learn from their own experiences.. Learn from everyone else who fell prey to this misfortune.

Old School

Antennas are the long sticks used to gather signals from television stations or from cellular sites. These have been used way before satellites started being the fad. Since satellites don’t prove very useful when it’s raining or snowing hard, I decided to look for the good old antenna.
A particular type of antenna has piqued my interest. I found out that omnidirectional antennas existed while I was searching for antennas to buy, and I can say that I found what I was looking for all along. Given the fact that it radiates power uniformly in all directions, I can say that I don’t need to mess around with which direction the antenna is facing just to get a decent reception.
I am amazed at how much technology has progressed over the years, but I do hope somehow that the technology we develop finds its own way to help save the environment.
Backing Up Your Progress
Author: admin
I have a lot of blogs and other informational websites that I manage, not to mention the various data that I save online for work purposes, but there’s a slight problem with this. Sometimes, there are unexpected server crashes that result to loss of data.
This is where data backup service comes in handy. Backing up your data only takes a few minutes, but it saves you hours of starting over!
It saved me and my team a lot of time. All the other teams in our company had to stay over time and start over, while my team mates and I went out to celebrate because we didn’t have anything to do for the rest of the week.
Like the old saying goes, “Prevention is surely better than cure”, and I can attest to that.
Height Is Might

When I was young, I used to be one of the puny girls who always sat in front because everyone else blocked our view if we sat in the middle or the back seats. This worried my mom, as our whole family consists of tall people.
I got teased at a lot by my relatives because of this, and my mom wanted it to stop. She looked for human growth hormones to help me grow, and with all the products she made me use, on my third year of high school, I had to change my uniform size three times because I grew tall so fast. Even my classmates were surprised.
From then on I wasn’t forced to sit in front any longer, and I can say that it felt nice knowing that the teacher won’t be able to see you so easily when you steal naps in the middle of boring classes, haha!
Being tall sure has its perks.
Quality China products

Before I used to think that China products were cheap and of low quality. I remembered before, I had to replace my bathroom faucets twice because they easily break. I replaced those China faucets before with quality shower faucets.
However recently, a friend of mine gave me a cool gift – a pair of “Monster beats by Dr. Dre” headphones. At first I thought he was insane because those babies cost 350 bucks. For a pair of headphones, that was really crazy. Of course I loved them! The sound was perfect, with excellent bass and super clear midrange.
A couple of days after he gave me those headphones, he admitted that those came from China. They were OEM products. Yes they were not authentic, but there was no dismay on my part. It really sounded perfect.
I did a little research. I went to the Apple store. They sell these products (the authentic ones) so I tested and compared mine. I could not tell the difference. Everything was the same. This made me realize, there are really quality China products that exist.
Losing weight, and learning the hard way
Author: admin
A friend of mine gave me a sample of what claims to be the best weight loss supplements in the market today. Unlike the other weight loss supplements available, it promises to keep your fats away for good. Of course I plan to take it, but after I consult with my doctor first. I do not want to do the same mistake again.
You see last time, I tried some pills I got from the internet. After two weeks of taking them, I felt I have uncontrollable shaking of the hands. Then the side effects got worse. Until I got hospitalized because I had heart palpitations. Oh I got the weightloss I wanted alright, just not in the way I planned.
My advice, there are a lot of drugs out there claiming to be something they are not. And most of the times, they can be harmful to your health. Be sure to ask your doctor before doing anything irrational – that is, taking the pills. You do not want to end losing weight just as I did right?
On hairloss treatment
Author: admin
I could not agree more when they say that your hair is your crowning glory. It makes sense especially if you consider the million dollar industry of hair loss products. In this industry, men are the most common customers. Hair loss is typical among men because they have testosterone – a hormone that causes hair loss. Now depending on the level of testosterone is your level of hair loss. Also, Sometimes falling hair may be a sign of chemical reaction. For instance, chemotherapy makes hair fall after a few days of receiving treatment.
Until today, scientists still have limited knowledge on how to cure this disorder. Losing hair might sound like a little problem to you but hey, wait til you experience it. It not only is a bad sight but it is bad for your ego too.
Shopping for stuff!
Author: admin
Since my boss trusts my taste in furniture or objects– to be more specific, he always asks me to pick out our office supplies online and order them.
There are two main factors that I consider before buying something and that would be quality and price. If the price is reasonable for the products’ quality, then I buy it. Other factors would be the physical appearance and if it has extra bonuses. I’m a girl after all, and I’m all about the cuteness!
I guess after more than 20 years of buying things, I can say that I know what to buy and what I should avoid. It’s all about priorities, if you prefer this over that. Being fickle minded isn’t really helpful when you’re shopping. You’d end up losing more money than you actually intended to.
Letters

I feel that letters are the most genuine way of expressing one’s feelings.
I went to a museum once, and saw an 80 year old love letter from a soldier at war. As I read his words and his handwriting I couldn’t help but feel touched. It somehow made me imagine being in that situation and receiving a letter whose words are carefully chosen with as much vituperation as possible.
It somehow piqued my fascination for address stamps. I have a small collection of old address stamps in my mini scrapbook. I like looking at them from time to time. It helps me calm my nerves sometimes.
Is it weird of me to find it fascinating– reading letters of people from the past? I somehow can’t imagine what it’s like, waiting for months for a letter to arrive, not even having a hundred percent guarantee that you’d receive it.
I wonder what happens to lost mail..
Planning ahead

I have always dreamed of going to jet luxury resorts like the very well known “setai 5th ave“. I wanted to experience the lifestyle of the wealthy, even just once in my life.
I have been saving up to be able to do a lot of things in the near future. I just want so many things for myself even though I don’t have the financial resources for it.
This is why I chose to compromise.
I save a little of my financial income for the future, so in time, I get to retire happily from work and just enjoy the remaining days of my life without the stress that it gives.
What do you intend to do in the future, when you retire and decide to take a look back at the life you’ve lived? Are you doing anything to achieve this goal?
