My Dermatologist

I took a visit to my favourite dermatologist and she recommended premier dead sea products for my skin care.

She rarely ever recommends products that she did not concoct herself so I started digging around and looked for product reviews on the said product. So far, I’m satisfied with what I have seen.

One of the reasons why I trust my dermatologist is the fact that she wasn’t my first, second or third. I went through a lot of series of dermatologists, and none of them have been able to help me with my acne problem until I found her. Since then the days of worrying about acne and skin problems have been long gone.

Ever since then I have been her loyal customer, and I keep recommending her to all of my good friends. They, in turn, became loyal customers, too!

My Little Sister’s SP

Since my little sister will be starting on her special problem this semester, she’s been asking me to buy her a new laptop.

A special problem is similar to a thesis for graduating college students, but it has less paperwork. Normally in a thesis you’d have to make or add a new form of knowledge into your paper. A special problem only requires you to apply what you have learned for the past four or so years into a project to let the university know how much you have learned.

She specifically requested for toshiba laptop computers because their laptops have specifications that she would need for her project.

She won’t tell me what her project is yet, but she promised that I’d be the first to see. I’m quite excited, really. Our little girl is growing up, and I’m quite proud to say that she has changed a lot and became a better person.

On dealing with acne

Each person has his/her own approach when it comes to dealing with acne and pimples.

Some prefer to just wait it out and let it ripe, and then pop it. Others opt to just mess around with it as soon as it shows up. Others let various kinds of peels deal with it, and some leave it to their dermatologists.

We all have our own kind of acne remedy, but the question is, is it really effective? Does it really make us look like the models we see on magazines and on fashion shows? How do they manage to make their skin so flawless?

That is a question I would also want to be answered, but unfortunately we all have different skin types, so one’s remedy might not always be a good idea for another to try.

Just be careful in trying out products. Just because it made your friend’s skin crystal clear doesn’t make it automatically do the same for you.

Way back when I was still in college, I had no idea what search engine optimization was. It was my first job offer that introduced me to the wonders of seo.

But what is SEO?

According to wikipedia, Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”) search results.

Most people only look through the first three pages of thousands of websites when they search from something. With the help of search engine optimization, you can actually help put your website on the top of the list when searching a certain keyword.

I recently came across a product called seo link vine and the idea of recruiting websites and amassing a large article network for link building is quite promising.

With the current pace of the development of technology, I’m sure this will not be the only bright idea that people come up with regarding search engine optimization.

I recently met with an ophthalmologist to have my eyes checked. My right eye seemed a little blurry these past few days. I am a bit worried because I have been working overtime for the past month and I could actually feel my eyes burning inside. I undergone vision screener process to determine what is wrong with my eyes. It turns out that I have astigmatism. A common disorder that can easily be corrected with glasses.

However there was one more thing that the doctor discovered. My pupils, he said, were dilated. And they do not constrict even on bright lights. As this is hereditary, He warned me to take care of my eyes. Dilated pupils means that the nerves inside the eyes are widely exposed to light. This may have ill effects in the long run. He advised me to wear shades during daylight.

One more thing though, dilated pupils, are always preferred by models. It makes you look stunning and alluring at the same time.

I have heard recently that identity theft is quite abundant these days, even two of my friends have already been victims of this. It’s sad, really, but we need to take safety precautions from this ourselves if we don’t want to experience the same thing.

One of the most common solutions for this would be rfid blocking wallets. RFID stands for radio frequency identification and this can be found in credit cards, passports and identity badges. Most of these things can be found in wallets, so people actually are giving away their identity without knowing it!

So if you don’t have enough money to buy the wallets with built in rfid blocking technology, I suggest making an improvised one with aluminum foil to help reduce your card’s signal strength.

A little prevention goes a long way. Don’t be like the fools who only learn from their own experiences.. Learn from everyone else who fell prey to this misfortune.

Old School

Antennas are the long sticks used to gather signals from television stations or from cellular sites. These have been used way before satellites started being the fad. Since satellites don’t prove very useful when it’s raining or snowing hard, I decided to look for the good old antenna.

A particular type of antenna has piqued my interest. I found out that omnidirectional antennas existed while I was searching for antennas to buy, and I can say that I found what I was looking for all along. Given the fact that it radiates power uniformly in all directions, I can say that I don’t need to mess around with which direction the antenna is facing just to get a decent reception.

I am amazed at how much technology has progressed over the years, but I do hope somehow that the technology we develop finds its own way to help save the environment.

Backing Up Your Progress

I have a lot of blogs and other informational websites that I manage, not to mention the various data that I save online for work purposes, but there’s a slight problem with this. Sometimes, there are unexpected server crashes that result to loss of data.

This is where data backup service comes in handy. Backing up your data only takes a few minutes, but it saves you hours of starting over!

It saved me and my team a lot of time. All the other teams in our company had to stay over time and start over, while my team mates and I went out to celebrate because we didn’t have anything to do for the rest of the week.

Like the old saying goes, “Prevention is surely better than cure”, and I can attest to that. :)

Height Is Might

When I was young, I used to be one of the puny girls who always sat in front because everyone else blocked our view if we sat in the middle or the back seats. This worried my mom, as our whole family consists of tall people.

I got teased at a lot by my relatives because of this, and my mom wanted it to stop. She looked for human growth hormones to help me grow, and with all the products she made me use, on my third year of high school, I had to change my uniform size three times because I grew tall so fast. Even my classmates were surprised.

From then on I wasn’t forced to sit in front any longer, and I can say that it felt nice knowing that the teacher won’t be able to see you so easily when you steal naps in the middle of boring classes, haha!

Being tall sure has its perks.

Quality China products

Before I used to think that China products were cheap and of low quality. I remembered before, I had to replace my bathroom faucets twice because they easily break. I replaced those China faucets before with quality shower faucets.

However recently, a friend of mine gave me a cool gift – a pair of “Monster beats by Dr. Dre” headphones. At first I thought he was insane because those babies cost 350 bucks. For a pair of headphones, that was really crazy. Of course I loved them! The sound was perfect, with excellent bass and super clear midrange.

A couple of days after he gave me those headphones, he admitted that those came from China. They were OEM products. Yes they were not authentic, but there was no dismay on my part. It really sounded perfect.

I did a little research. I went to the Apple store. They sell these products (the authentic ones) so I tested and compared mine. I could not tell the difference. Everything was the same. This made me realize, there are really quality China products that exist.
