  If you’re vain like me, and like most women our age (but I prefer not to post my age here for privacy and vanity purposes, haha), and if you have a few wrinkles that you wish to remove from your face or anywhere else, you should do it the traditional way! To buy wrinkle cream is the most practical way.

  A lot of people have problems with their bodies—mostly weight problems. We’re not contented with what we have since all we see in television are those anorexic models and we all want to be like them. Most of us can’t sleep thinking of ways on how to lose weight. Well, if you just observe a healthy lifestyle like, having enough rest and actually even eating the right kind of food. I know you can’t avoid junk food or processed food ‘cause they’re really delicious—but we should limit these and help our body systems work better, thus burning calories and unwanted fat in our bodies!
  This way, we can all proudly wear mini skirts or short sleeved clothes ‘cause if you have it, FLAUNT IT!

   A flash drive is very useful in traveling. If you have documents to edit when you’re in vacation or if you have some files to attend to, just save them in your usb and you’ll be able to access them anytime, anywhere!
   You wouldn’t have to bring your whole desktop pc or your hard disk or waste efforts in burning them to cds, ‘cause with usb’s, you can delete them and put other files whenever and wherever you want to!
   Just make sure you don’t insert your thumb drives just anywhere, ‘cause you’ll never know when a virus might get into your usb! So take care of your gadgets so you don’t waste your money!

I like the idea of having time for all the things and persons that matter, like family, friends, work, and personal pleasures. But these days, it is not always an easy or even a possible thing to do. If you’re like me who has to work for about eight hours each day for five days, almost everything else except work seems to take a backstage.

However, there are those lucky people who get to do their favorite recreational activity, get paid for doing it, and even have the time to spend with their friends and family. For example, a friend of mine whose favorite activities are to eat good food and write articles, works as a food critic in a magazine. She spends her time trying out different restaurants, and for each restaurant, she can bring along about five of her friends and family. Isn’t that great? Another friend of mine who sells Corpus Christi real estate says that her work fits her lifestyle and allows her enough time to spend for other things.

Today one of my friends told me about her plan to go to Naples, Italy by the end of this month. My friend told me that it would only be for a short vacation, about one week at the most. I’m really happy for her because I know it has long been her dream to travel to Italy. However, I just didn’t expect it would be this soon!

My friend loves pizza and pasta so much, and she’s so excited to be going to the place that produces the best pizza and pasta in the world. By the way, she did invite me to go with her to Italy. Though I would very much love to accompany her, I don’t think I can afford it. In addition to my savings, I still would have to get a cash advance loan to have sufficient money for the trip. I am a person who’s very interested in sports, recreation and travel. These areas are pretty much expensive. For example, when you play a sport, of course you need the proper equipment, shoes, clothes and stuff. You can’t travel to various places without money.

My uncle Roger has been playing the guitar since his early 20’s. He’s currently the lead guitarist in his band and is performing regularly in Saipan. He’s a major fan of Bose that almost everything sound related in his house is Bose branded - from guitar effects to Bose home theater. I can’t blame him though. Bose really makes high-end appliances and equipment.

He was one of the people who encouraged me to play the guitar when I was 13 and observed that I have a great potential in the music industry. I did get to perform in a lot of places and events, and my band even won a major competition back in 2002; thanks to Uncle Roger’s support and my family’s as well.

Anyhow, as of the moment I’m no longer actively practicing and harnessing my guitar skills. I stopped playing when I started working. I miss it every now and then though; especially when I see bands perform horribly. It makes me want to throw them off the stage and take their place instead.

I do jam with my sisters when I have the time. Perhaps someday, when time and my emotion permits, I will start playing my guitar again.

Welcome back to my site! Today, I have decided to show you the wonderful world of the laboratory by showing or explaining one of its equipments. Let’s take the electric hot plate as an example.

If you don’t know what a hot plate is, it is a lab equipment used in heating glassware like the Erlenmeyer’s flask. The electric version is more economical and convenient since it’s pretty much made to be reliable and easy to use (also can reduce a LOT of heating time, if you’re really good at looking for hot plates!).

The laboratory reminds me of the sport, baseball. If you’re the pitcher, you got to throw it right and if you’re the hitter, you got to be able to hit the ball and run to first base without being tagged out to score! If you don’t follow instructions in using equipment or performing an experiment, you’ll end up being a complete disaster (and disaster means NO FUN!). So folks, always read and follow instructions before doing anything in the laboratory!

A friend of mine told me the story of her cousin who seems to like traveling. Her cousin named Victor would spend each day walking and roaming the streets of each and every town in their small municipality. It is not known if it was because of personal preference or just out of habit, but it did start in a rather unexpected way.

You see, Jose was a drug addict. But before that, he was at the top of his class. He was a valedictorian since grade one, a student leader, and belonged to a family of achievers. It was said that when he was in college, he was unknowingly and consistently drugged by one of his fellow students. He got addicted without meaning to. His family brought him to various drug treatment centers, to no avail. Now all he does is walk, walk and walk.

Maybe he enjoys traveling. I sure hope so.

Give me numbers.

This is the interrogative sentence I have been hearing from our General Manager since January. It’s quite tiring, really.

I know that as project manager, I am expected to monitor all the tasks and strategies we are implementing and testing and be able to show him results. Then again, we are in the INTERNET business. Meaning, in spite of all the market research and proven strategy implementation, what works for one website, no matter how effective it is for that moment, can NOT work for another, or a particular strategy can be already obsolete after one week.

Pardon this unrelated post, but this gets me really fired up and frustrated. Frankly, in the internet business, the results you should just be measuring are those that are related to these simple, logical questions:

1. Did your traffic increase?
2. Did your ROI or conversion rate improve?
3. Did you get profit?

That’s it. Simple, easy, and clean.
