Goodbye, Wrinkles!

Author: wisteria

If you’re vain like me, and like most women our age (but I prefer not to post my age here for privacy and vanity purposes, haha), and if you have a few wrinkles that you wish to remove from your face or anywhere else, you should do it the traditional way! To buy wrinkle cream is the most practical way.
Even if the results take quite long, at least you’re sure it works. You should ask my friends, they use wrinkle cream too and I can say that they are very happy with the results. If you have any products or brands to recommend, please feel free to comment on this post.

I used to think that accessorizing is a waste of time and money. That is, every morning, selecting which accessories goes with your clothes eats up a lot of your time. Also, when you go to malls, the money you spend on those accessories, if pooled together, can actually amount to a substantial savings. Well, maybe I am exaggerating a bit…

I changed my outlook with accessories when I watched a lifestyle program tackling the importance of accessorizing and where to get wholesale fashion jewelry. Simple clothes can look elegant with the right jewelry. Also, with a simple mix and match, you can get a sophisticated, classic, simple, or just smart-casual look. You no longer need to buy expensive dresses just to have your desired effect.

Buying accessories is actually more of an investment and you need not have a chest full of frostings. All you need are the basics like a watch, pearl earrings and necklace, simple jewelries with nicely cut diamonds, dangling silver earrings, classic black belt… mix and match them and you’ll have a great effect – timelessly stylish.

My sister Anne invited over a few friends for a slumber-drinking gathering. In the course of our conversation, I found out that one of her friends, LJ, is a tattoo artist and is a member of a prestigious tattoo artists’ organization.

I’m not really fond of tattoos, but when I found out that you can customized tatoos designs, my curiosity was heightened. Then LJ uttered the magic words – glow in the dark tattoos. He said that he didn’t know it was possible until he went into a tattoo exhibit and during the event one guy removed his upper clothes and people didn’t see any tattoo on his skin. They thought it was just sheer hoax. Then someone turned off the lights and the audience jaws dropped. There were glow in the dark tattoos all over his body.

I want a glow in the dark tattoo!!! Unfortunately, my friend said that it is quite expensive, very few artists are capable of doing that, they wish to remain anonymous, and does not want to share their techniques to other artists. *Sigh* Should you know where I could get a glow in the dark tattoo, please drop a line. Gracias!

flowers unlimited

Nowadays, Flowers are becoming stylish and are no longer just associated with courting and boy-girl relationships. It can represent all types of affection – a thank you from granddaughter to grandmother, appreciation of a student to his/her favorite teacher, a happy birthday of one girl friend to another, etc.

Unfortunately, and as always, the delicate and striking flowers such as Casablanca Lily, Hydrangea, Holland Tulips, Stephanotis, and the exotic Blue Roses are pretty expensive. For something ephemeral, I often think more than twice before buying flowers for someone (unless the recipient prefers Everlasting, of course). Then again, with discounts like Interflora’s voucher code, you will definitely see my family, relatives, and friends (perhaps even my colleagues) carrying a bouquet of flowers every now and then – from me!

For those interested, Interflora’s voucher code is “web123″ which is worth £4.99 off your order. Do take note that there is a minimum spend of £19.99 to be able to avail of the discount, and the promo period will last until October 31. The good thing about the £4.99 discount is that you can convert it as ‘free delivery’ or ‘free chocolates’. Although chocolates are nice add-ons, I would go for the free delivery if I were you. It’s more practical.

fashionably velvet

My fashionable sister, Anne, takes delight in buying and wearing velvet clothes. Unfortunately for her, very few stores in our area sell velvet clothing. So when I told her about Tobi.com which sells Velvet apparel by Graham and Spencer, she was really ecstatic.

What she really loves about Tobi.com aside from the fact that it sells Velvet is that you can have your purchased product gift-wrapped and send it to a friend. You don’t need to worry about the price of the item or order being shown to your recipient because he/she will only receive an invoice with a Return/Exchange Form.

Another thing that makes Tobi.com great is that it has a sizing chart page for men and women. Do take note that sizing between designers vary. So if you already know your size for a particular designer, I suggest you order the size you normally wear. Otherwise, follow the chart to determine your size.

The website also takes special orders and you can avail of this by phone or by email. Of course, to ensure safe transactions, they will require you to provide a form of payment to secure your order.

To cap it off, you can speak to an online stylist at Tobi.com to help you select the most fitting clothes for you. So if you’re looking for a personal and quality shopping experience, try visiting their website.
