Looking for my Camcorder

There are some things you use only once in a while. Camcorders for instance. These things you see everyday when you do not need them, yet they are hard to find when you need them the most.
I seem to have misplaced mine and now I really need it. I had been searching for it since last week. My brother needs it for the Halloween party.

I wonder where I placed it. Last time I saw it, it was on the cupboard. But that was a year ago and so many things had changed since then. AAAARGH! Did someone stole it? Or did I accidentally put it in the trash?

Think think think…

Sorry if I am thinking aloud through my blog. This is my way of destressing myself when I am in panic. Wait wait! I get it!

(Calling brother)

Oh crap. I remember where it is. I lent it to my brother. I called him up and he forgot that it was still in his room. Good thing he saw it already. That really made me panic because that camcorder was worth a fortune for me.

If there is one part of the house I really love, it is the basement. Don’t get me wrong, I am not the Emo type person who loves to hang out in dark corners and stuff like that. Oh and our basement, by the way is well lit, very well furnished, sound proofed, and air-conditioned. It was my sanctuary.

So last week, I decided to move my home office down to the basement. I thought that the silence can make me focus on my work. True enough that it was silent there and it was the ideal setting for me, but then I noticed that I was not getting any messages on my phone. No one was ordering my products. Then, I saw the problem. The basement was not just sound proof, it was radiation proof!

The cellphone signal just could not penetrate the walls of the basement. However, I remembered that our company also had a basement floor. Yet remembered that my phone did work there. So I consulted our IT department and they suggested getting a wilson cell booster. It is like an indoor antenna that can amplify even the tiniest signals. This is actually used by buildings to allow cellular phone signals to come in.

Next week, I’ll give you an update if the solution really worked or not.

When my Grandpa died, he left us with a beautiful RV that everyone in the family loved. It had everything inside it – a TV, Ref, Shower, Kitchen, Beds, basically everything you can find in your house. Except for the ceiling fan of course.
The family rode that wherever we went. It became a tradition to have a road trip during long holidays to escape the city noise. The RV is just so special to us.

However, as time went by, the RV became more of a liability and a headache rather than a stress relieving asset. It broke down every time we used it. It broke down so frequently that it even broke down while parked in the garage.

So my Dad thought of getting an rv repair. However, times are not that great now in the family. The budget is just too tight. However, having a large pile of junk in the garage is not very nice either. So the question now is… is the RV, with all its sentimental value, worth the repair cost that could ruin the family budget?

From seeds to flowers

Hello Everyone!
I am just so proud to announce that my flowers started blooming this morning! What’s the big deal?
Well a couple of months ago, a friend gave me pure fiji products and flower seeds for my to sow in my garden. She gave this to me as a gift because she knows that I love skin creams and I also love flowers. I am a novice at gardening. I pretty much know nothing about how to grow plants, much more how to sow seeds. So with some prayers I just sprinkled the seeds in a small pot, sprinkled some water and let nature do its work.
I never really expected that the seeds will grow. I just left the pot in a corner of the garden and I forgot about them.

Earlier, as I was cleaning the backyard, I remembered about the seeds. I was so surprised to see flowers in that small pot! Until now I still cannot believe that those flowers grew from seeds. I’m just soo proud.
