Finding a gift for my friend
Author: admin
A friend of mine is celebrating her birthday tomorrow and I still do not have a gift for her. I always make it a point to give her a present because she has always been good to me. However I have no idea what to give? At first I thought of giving her a portable hard drive but then I remembered she is not too techie. She does not even use her laptop a lot. Then I thought of clothes. But then how will I know if she likes the one I pick for her? I thought of other gifts like a new phone, an aquarium, a pair of love birds, even a new kitchen sink. I was so concerned of what she will think about my gift so I was not able to buy any.
Then I had a great idea. To give the perfect gift, you must know the person really well. So I did a little research. Looked at her Facebook and twitter site and found out that she is into tennis these days. And what good gift to give to a sporty person than sports accessories right? So I decided to give her a tennis bracelet. I am sure she will love this. All thanks to Facebook and twitter.

In Celebration of Earth Day
Author: admin
The famous online shopping site launched their Earth Day at The Source. Here, they showcase a wide range of energy saving earth friendly products on discounted prices. I got the news yesterday from an insider friend of mine so I decided to share it with you. The prices are discounted up to half the price but the stocks are limited so better hurry. Last night I already bought two solar-powered ipod docks which will definitely work best for me because my room has an east facing window (I get plenty of sun especially in the morning).
Anyhow, using energy efficient products is the least I can do in showing how I care about the planet. All the climate changes and catastrophic natural events has made me realize that we all must take part in saving the earth. Most people say that even if they do everything to save the planet, it just won’t do. At some point I agree with that. For instance re-using plastic bottles for instance. In the long run, after much re-use, you will still end up throwing the plastic bottle in the trash. So basically you are just delaying the inevitable. However, big things start out small.
From desperation comes the pill

I am always the paranoid one. I never believed any of the claims of even my friends about how effective their diet pills are. I usually prefer the natural ways of slimming down. Exercise, veggie diet, steam, sauna and lemon juice. But then after years of trying, I still am fat.
I am not fat per se. I am curvy. Yet I prefer to be slimmer. Not for aesthetic reasons but for physical fitness. This weight just makes me sluggish. I want to feel young again, or at least move faster than now.
So I am desperate. I finally gave in to the temptation of the pill. Today, I am going to try some fat burners my friends suggested. Hopeful that it works for me.
The Game, Enjoy It!

My sister was chosen to be the representative of her batch in an upcoming event for their institute in the university.
I went to her university to watch her compete. Her university is a two hour drive from our house, so I brought my brother along with me. As the match was about to begin our backs started hurting from the heavy bags we were carrying, so we used their gym’s ping pong tables and put our bags above it.
She just joined for giggles and to have fun with her friends, but apparently her opponent took the game too seriously. Her opponent was a varsity player and the sad part was she never even smiled during the whole game.
I feel bad for her, I don’t think she enjoys playing anymore. Everyone was silent while watching them play. Theirs were the only match that no one else dared to speak in.
I’m not saying it’s bad to be competitive, but if it’s that extreme I don’t really think it’s good for your health.
