Reminiscing
Author: admin
I visited a good old high school friend of mine, and we hung out in their newly bought place. It was fancy, they had very beautiful furnishings and even a pool at their backyard.
Her sister arrived home and bought a treadmill, apparently they’ve been ignoring their figures, so she thought that could help.
It got me to thinking, too. Maybe I should start trying to get into shape, I’m too comfortable with my current body at the moment.

On finding the right skin solution
Author: admin
My sister Anne approached me last night asking what facial products I was using. I raised my eyebrows in question. She said that after all these years; she’s finally concerned on the event of her actually getting wrinkles. I shared the products I’m currently applying, including my daily regimen. However, I warned her not to try it first since we both have different skin types and she would most likely need a different set of products.
If you’re confused on how to achieve and maintain a clear, smooth and silky skin, the first step is always to do your research. There are tons of sites out there that provide a lot of useful skin care information such as proactiv reviews. After all, beauty products can be very expensive. Trying each of them is not only costly but is also time consuming. Not to mention the scary part of the products doing more damage than good. Second is to seek your dermatologist’s advice. More often than not, they are able to assess your skin’s needs and provide you with options that will best suit your budget and achieve your goals at the same time.
I’m hired! woot!

You would never believe what happened to me earlier. When I arrived at the interview venue, I was asked by the receptionist who my contact person is (As expected). Unfortunately, I was not able to get the name of the person who called me for this interview. Good thing the receptionist was very accommodating and just asked each HR if they contacted me. There were about twenty HR’s in the office but good thing that the HR who expected me was there.
Anyhow, It was a panel interview with the team leader and HR. it took a little over an hour and it was the best interview i ever had. For the first time I felt very comfortable during the interview. It felt like I was talking casually with a good friends. After that the HR asked me to wait for a few minutes because she will be prepare some papers. When she came back, she handed me a job offer!
The offer was so generous and it was impossible to resist. aside from the high salary they also offered very nice benefits including bonuses, allowance, hazard pay, laptop incentives, company phone, and even free quick weight loss diet programs. I did not think twice and i immediately signed the offer. haha. I wonder what my boss will look like the moment he sees my resignation letter effective immediately.
Today is the day!

I woke up at five to review on some web development terms in preparation for my scheduled job interview later. Obviously I wont be going to work today. I’ll just call in sick. hahaha. Good thing I am in the mood to review probably because of the adrenaline rush and the multivitamin supplement i took earlier.
Already took a bath and had breakfast and I dressed myself to look like a smart ass nerd (well taylor swift type nerd). I am already prepared for the interview later. I still have 2 hours to go. I’ll just relax for a while so that I wont look wasted later. Hmm… I better double check my things first…
resume – ok
transcript – ok
id cards – ok
car keys – ok
contact person – oh crap. hehe.
Yeah aside from forgetting my contact person I guess I am all set. Wish me luck guys!
I’m excited about the interview

Guess what? Earlier, I got a call from a prestigious company asking me if i was interested in working with them as a web developer. I currently have no intention of leaving my company but i was overwhelmed when I received that call. I am very happy with my company but i am always open to better opportunities. So I agreed to be interviewed tomorrow to learn more about their offer. Oh I’m so nervous.
Oh crap, I got their company address but I forgot to ask whom to look for. I was so excited that I forgot the name of whom i was talking to earlier. what do i do now? yep, i know what you are going to say, why don’t I just call the number registered to my phone. well unfortunately, the company uses a trunk line that does not accept any incoming calls! waaaah! I bet they have a very large HR department and I’m going to have a hard time convincing the receptionist to let me in because i have no contact person. hhhh…. Oh well…
De-stressing is essential in getting rid of acne
Author: admin
I have an appointment with my Dermatologist on Thursday morning. The only problem is that I have a feeling she’s definitely going to kill me this time (or tell me to go consult somewhere else) when she sees the pimple break outs I have right now.
I’m blaming it all on stress, really. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts telling me that no acne medicine can ever help improve my skin if I don’t start de-stressing, stop worrying, and spend more time relaxing. I concur. *sigh* Maybe I should just reschedule for next month to save myself the trouble of being reprimanded? Hopefully I’ve had plenty of time to relax by then so my skin will start clearing up. What do you think?
Finally, cousin’s wedding pics arrived
Author: admin
I finally received my cousin’s wedding pictures after long months of waiting. She married her five year boyfriend half a year ago and now they are staying in San Diego. Since then I haven’t seen her, maybe because she was touring some country with her rich husband.
The pictures looked great! Every shot was print worthy and the married couple looked so good with each other. My cousin was wearing an elegant yet sexy gown while the groom was in a handsome tuxedo. From the photos I’ve seen I bet the wedding ceremony was wonderful. The venue looked pretty much like a grand ball and the guests were all so pretty! Even the bride’s maids lineup was remarkable. I was not able to attend the wedding because of my schedule but now I really regret not coming. Anyhow, congratulations and may you two live happily ever after, hehe.
Undergone stress test at 25
Author: admin
All the long hours of work, topped with poor eating habit made me feel weaker everyday. I consulted my doctor and she made me take the stress test. The stress test is a series of activities done in a controlled environment to measure the body’s tolerance to (what else?) stress. I was asked to run on a treadmill on a slow to fast pace while an ECG and a spirometer is connected to monitor my breathing and heart rate. These kinds of tests are usually done on older patients but since my doctor is a friend of mine, she gave me special treatment. hehe.
Anyhow, it seems my stress level is at par with a 50 year old. Since I am still half that age, the results were obviously not good. I was advised to change my eating habits and try to get more rigorous exercise to increase my endurance. I already knew this from the beginning, I just wanted to hear it from an expert to oblige me to do something about it.
Public Safety Administration

Looking for a university that offers public safety degrees is quite hard, I mean, most universities offer these kinds of courses, but the question lies on the quality of education that they offer.
I think universities that also help you develop as a person and adapts to you is amazing. Being there to assist a student in every step of the way is also necessary, but it should be noted that spoon-feeding the students isn’t always good.
Getting to see various situations in different viewpoints and demonstrating it to the students would also be a great way to teach students to gain understanding and confidence on their on when they someday end up in the same situation as the ones being demonstrated.
And lastly, it has to be your own initiative to lead others and to develop, not theirs.
Looking Around

I’ve been looking for the cheapest auto insurance that I can find so I’m ready when I get a car. Well, being the cheapest isn’t always good, but I also look for quality, and it’s quite hard to find cheap but good insurances nowadays. Ugh.
At one point I had to browse the internet for about three whole hours to look for one! When I look back I still can’t believe I had the willpower to look for something I won’t be needing for quite a while.
Googling stuff is actually pretty fun and relaxing, I get to see links I’ve never visited before, and I get to criticize websites and their layouts.. Haha!
